it is hard for a girl to keep a straight face in a skirt this cool.  which makes it perfect for a photo shoot.  maddie and i had a ton of fun running around the park.  why is it that twirling and jumping in a very fluffy skirt never gets old?

always one of my favorite things about photographing kids over the years is watching them grow.  i am amazed time and again to see how they change and grow into the people they are going to be.  recently, i got to photograph evi again.  last time i photographed her she was about 4 1/2...this time she was about 8 1/2.  naturally, she was more mature and less inclined to run around in her underwear and cowboy outfit for a photo session.  it was only when i saw the proofs from this most recent session that i realized that she gave me this remarkable comparison of then and now.  it seemed perfect for sharing.
